I started taking photos in 2014 when I first went back to college to complete my journalism degree.

In 2018 I was offered a position with the Colfax Messenger and Glenwood City Tribune Press Reporter. I began doing area  sports coverage and taking photos for the four public schools that are covered by the two papers.

When the parents saw the quality of my sports photos, they started asking me if I would be willing to take photos for their children for graduation, and if I had extra pictures from the games of their children. 

In 2019, I challenged myself to take my daughter's senior photos, along with a friend of hers, with a variety of scenic views to use as a backdrop. They turned out beautifully and inspired me to venture out to start a new business. 

With the support of my boyfriend, Brad, and our families, I have decided to venture into a photography business of my own.
